  • There were 3,031 new listings that came on the market in April 2011, a decrease of 24.5% from the 4,017 in April 2010. This time last year lots of sellers rushed their homes on the market to catch those tax-incentive- driven buyers.
  • Northern VA inventory peaked in June 2006. It had decreased steadily for 20 months before month-over-month increases in early 2010.
